Kelly created her first darkroom in the garage of her home for her 6th grade science fair project, exposing leaves onto photographic paper.Since then, she became entranced with the processes of photography and began pursuing this path ever since.

In 2000, Kelly earned a BFA in Photography from Pratt Institute, NY and interned with world renowned photographer Joyce Tenneson. After working in NY for 6 years, Kelly decided to move back to CA to pursue photojournalism. Kelly freelanced for several award-winning papers such as The Silicon Valley Commmunity Newspapers, The San Mateo Daily Journal, and The Gilroy Dispatch. In April 2007, Kelly completed a documentary book project about autism and is donating 5% of proceeds from sales of the book to the Pacific Autism Center for Education. For more info, click here

In addition, Kelly's photography has been exhibited in galleries in San Francisco, New York, and Madrid. In 2006, she won a photography award for a significant portrayal of Brooklyn, NY (where she resided for 6 years), and her image is among the permanent collection at The Brooklyn Public Library, the fifth largest library in the States.

With her fine art background and photojournalist's eye, Kelly will bring out the best on your wedding day, capture all your spontaneous, important moments, and tell your story in a unique way.
