Meet the Artist

Kelly Hsiao is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Maui, Hawaiʻi. Inspired by the ocean, her work explores themes of wonder, transformation and a connection to the natural world through ethereal underwater imagery. Her photographs have been exhibited internationally and featured in luxury and fine art publications, receiving honors such as the Julia Margaret Cameron Award.

In her NOCTURNE series, Kelly draws from her night diving experiences to bridge an emotional connection to oceanic life.

  • Kelly donates a portion of print proceeds of her Award-winning image "Emergence" to the rescue and protection of Hawaiian sea turtles through the Marine Institute at Maui Ocean Center.

  • Her series Oceans Apart with performer and filmmaker Audrey Billups donates to Love The Sea’s H2R Coastal Cleanup program that removes thousands of pounds of plastic debris in hard to reach coastlines across Maui.
